TINA VITTORIOSO

Owner + Director

Tina Vittorioso is the owner and director of Centerstage Dance Academy. Tina began her dance training with Nancy DiCiccio at the age of 3. At the age of 11 she bgan a more intense training program with Bette Ann Rossi at Atwood Performing Arts Center. She was also taking trips to NYC to train at Steps on Broadway with some incredible teachers. She was hired for her first full-time teaching position at South County Movement Center where she started to build a portfolio of amazing choreography.

 

At age 23, she decided to open Centerstage Dance Academy with the hopes of spreading the art of dance in a positive, welcoming environment. Over twenty years late, Centerstage is known for its comfortable atmosphere and talented dancers. Many of her former dancers are now teachers and choreographers across the country! 

Tina's passion for dance education is also manifested through her founding of Take Centerstage Dance Challenge. TCDC was started in 2008 with the hope of spreading education in the competition and convention circuit. TCDC has become known as the go-to competition in New England and is known for its amazing staff and the positive experience it delivers.

Tina is a member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) and the Rhode Island Dance Alliance. 

ALLISON VITTORIOSO

Assistant Director

Allison Vittorioso started her dance training at the age of 3 under the direction of Tina Vittorioso. Allison has strained at Steps on Broadway in New York City, Rhode Island College, and the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) OPDI program. She has studied with amazing teachers including Danielle Bower, Lindsay Deneault, Stephanie Flackman, Kathleen Smith, Angelic Vessella, Alexander Cruz, Eva Marie Pacheco, Kelly Cannone, and Debbie Roche.

Allison received her first choreography award at age 18 and has continually been recognized for her creative choreography. She is also on staff at Take Centerstage Dance Challenge, That's Entertainment Performing Arts, On Pointe Dance Competition, and Precision Dance Arts in a variety of roles including adjudicator, convention faculty, and choreographer.

Allison is a member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO).
